How a 3D transfer is made

We make everything. You receive a finished transfer that you only need to iron on.

  1. We print the 3D logo

    The design is printed in layers: colours (CMYK), white and varnish.

  2. The 3D effect is created

    The layers give the logo volume, texture and a glossy varnish. You choose the 3D level and the varnish yourself.

  3. We cut it out

    A plotter cuts a precise outline around the design.

    We send the finished 3D iron-on transfers, ready to apply to textile, to your door.

What you can set

3D level

Low, medium or high 3D relief: the higher the level, the stronger the effect.

Varnish

No varnish (matt), partial varnish (semi-gloss) or full varnish (high gloss).

Size

Transfer up to 28 × 38 cm.

How to iron on a 3D transfer at home

All you need is an iron, greaseproof paper (baking paper) and a T-shirt.

  1. Place it on the textile

    Lay the T-shirt on a flat, firm surface and place the transfer on the fabric where you want it.

  2. Press through greaseproof paper

    Cover the transfer with greaseproof paper and iron for about 15 seconds, without steam, with reasonably firm pressure (with a hand iron press evenly with the full weight of your hand). The ideal iron temperature is 150 °C. If the material is delicate, start at 120 °C.

  3. Peel off the film

    Peel off the carrier film slowly; if any part has not stuck, cover it with greaseproof paper again and iron once more.

Important about ironing on

You can apply iron-on transfers (DTF transfers, 3D transfers and cut vinyl) at home, but we do not guarantee the quality or durability of the result. At home you usually don't have a professional heat press with an exactly set temperature, even pressure and precise pressing time, and the result depends on exactly those. The safest option is therefore to order the printing directly from us.
